Priyanka Jain
Priyanka was born to an entrepreneurial family in Seattle, WA. Observing her parents solve global problems, she naturally drifted towards helping others. Priyanka knew she was privileged to get a good education where millions of girls in the world don’t. Her parents, Naveen and Anu, encouraged her to take action for issues she cared about deeply. At 14 years old, Priyanka organized a fundraiser to build a school in Afghanistan. She started her first venture, iCAREweCARE, a first-of-its-kind student-run non-profit that created a global network of students who wanted to help others through their ideas. After graduating high school, she became a Teen Advisor for the United Nations Girl Up campaign, where she helped young women in remote corners of the world. While her siblings started their entrepreneurial ventures, Priyanka kept her focus on following her dreams. She graduated from Stanford University as the president of Stanford Women in Business and received the highly coveted Mayfield Entrepreneurship Fellowship. Currently Priyanka is working on a new venture called EVVY, an at-home microbiome test and wellness plan for women.
Like her mom, Priyanka is motivated by helping others, especially women. She feels that young girls like her should get the same opportunities that few privileged girls get. Right to education, opportunity to pursue their dreams, and a nurturing environment to grow up, are every girl child’s fundamental rights. Priyanka wants to help underprivileged girls get access to these rights. She knows that given the right tools; these girls will transform their communities for the better. Priyanka heads product at, Pymetrics, an organization dedicated to removing gender and ethnic bias from the hiring process using behavioral science and AI. Through her initiatives, she hopes to make a difference in the world by being a leader and a successful entrepreneur.
